The Law Offices of David Michael Cantor
believe in higher education, and they take pride in representing people who have been accused of DUI or criminal conduct. In order to help make a college or law school education a more affordable opportunity, this Arizona DUI and criminal law firm is offering a college or law student scholarship to help current, or soon-to-be, college students ease the burden of higher education costs.
Applicants for the 2016/17 Law Offices of David Michael Cantor DUI/Criminal Defense Lawyer Scholarship must meet the criteria below.
- Must fill out the form fields in the online application
- You must be currently attending this semester or applying to attend for an upcoming semester during the 2016/17 calendar year as this Scholarship is to a domestic U.S. based college or university
- Your full name, address, phone and e-mail address must be submitted
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- Upon receipt of submission, the law firm's staff will review the information and confirm eligibility
The scholarship funds may be used for undergraduate or law school tuition at a college or university. It is not required that the applicant be enrolled in an educational program at the time of his or her application.
A check for $2,500 will be sent directly to the college or university that is designated by the winner. (The winner will have one year from the date of the award to provide a tuition invoice from the college or university of their choice.) The scholarship will be awarded on or before December 15, 2016
COLLEGE OR LAW SCHOOL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP QUALIFICATIONS AND SUBMISSION
To apply, each candidate is required to write 750 word minimum essay on the topic of "The necessity and value of the presumption of innocence and reasonable doubt in the criminal justice system."
You will be able to enter the essay and all contact information directly into the submission page. Upon completion, click the 'Submit'
button. Each applicant may only submit one (1) entry.
Submission of the completed online application is required no later than November 30, 2016. Upon submission of your form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Please retain this e-mail for your records.
The scholarship winner will be notified by a representative of the Law Offices of David Michael Cantor
by telephone or e-mail. The winner's name will also be posted on the firm's official Facebook
