This summer, we are offering JD students two online courses as a pilot program. Students who have completed at least 28 credit hours are eligible to participate. These classes are “synchronous” in format – in other words, even though they are online they meet at scheduled class times, and you must “attend” by logging on to the website and participating in class.
You register for these classes as SMU classes, are graded on an SMU curve, are subject to the SMU honor code, and pay SMU tuition. There is no online registration for these courses; to register for either of these classes, you must go to the Registrar’s office in person and must complete this form
. Payment for Securities Regulation will be due on May 16. Payment for Evidence will be due on May 23rd. Should you enroll but decide to drop one of these classes, refunds will be governed by the general law school summer school policy, with the first day of class treated as the first day of the term.
