2008 UCLA Journal of Law and Technology Writing Contest

The UCLA Journal of Law and Technology (JOLT) invites all law students
to participate in the Spring Issue of JOLT.
Content:
JOLT seeks to publish scholarly and scientific articles
relating to law and technology. They are also interested in
material of a more practical nature aimed at doctors, business
people, legislators, government employees, engineers, students,
and members of the general public.
Format:
All citations included in the submission should conform to The Bluebook:
A Uniform System of Citation (18th Ed.).
Deadline:
Monday, March 3, 2008.
Prize:
$1,000
Eligibility:
Currently enrolled law student at your school (1L, 2L, 3L).
Submissions:
Please e-mail a complete application to submissions@lawtechjournal.com
(please indicate that the submission is for the UCLA JOLT writing contest).
A complete application includes the following documents as attachments:
- An electronic copy of the article in either Microsoft Word
or WordPerfect format;
- Suggested length is 15-20 pages (not
including footnotes).
- An abstract of at least 150 words;
- A table of contents;
- A resume or curriculum vitae including the author's address,
telephone number, fax and e-mail address; and
- If the article contains material already copyrighted by another
source, JOLT asks that the submitting author obtain written
permission from the copyright holder to reproduce the item.
