The IFA Educational Foundation is now seeking applicants for a new Franchise Law Diversity Scholarship Award. The award is being sponsored by one of the nation’s leading law firms, DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary and is being administered by the IFA Educational Foundation. The goal of this scholarship program is to recognize and support academic achievement among minority law students and to encourage these students to enroll in courses of study related to franchising.
The award is $4,000 and will be presented annually. The award will be issued to the law school in which the student is enrolled for tuition only. The scholarship may not be used by the selected student’s law school to reduce the amount of financial aid being received by the student.
In addition to the scholarship, the selected student may be invited to various functions, such as the IFA Annual Legal Symposium or other meetings, sponsored by DLA Piper US LLP.
