Of course professors can be right and judges wrong. That's why we get to be "professors." But do you really think the court reached the wrong result in Hamer? Do you believe the uncle's estate should not have had to pay? Where is the justice in that? Do not be so swayed by legal doctrine that you ignore ultimate justice. I think you should ponder the facts of the case a bit more.
