Following graduation Professor Armour was a law clerk for Judge Barefoot Sanders, Federal District Judge, Northern District of Texas. Professor Armour has been a partner in the litigation section of the Dallas law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld and served as a member of the adjunct faculty of SMU School of Law for the spring semester 1988, teaching Texas Trial and Appellate Procedure. Professor Armour currently teaches in the Civil Clinic at the law school.
