Visiting Career Services
We are located at 3300 University Boulevard, south of Daniel Avenue and east of Hillcrest Avenue.
Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with
extended hours until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday for the evening program
students.

Directions to SMU Dedman School of Law
SMU is located in the heart of Dallas in University Park
– a residential neighborhood just five miles north of downtown. It is bound by
U.S. Highway 75 (North Central Expressway) to the east,
Hillcrest Avenue to the west, Mockingbird Lane
to
the south and
Daniel Avenue
to the north.
In addition to the general directions below, please note
the specific parking instructions that follow. For exact directions to SMU, you
may wish to use an online map service such as MapQuest.
General Directions
From U.S. Highway
75 (North Central Expressway)
Traveling from the north, take the Lovers Lane/University Boulevard/SMU (Yale)
Boulevard exit. Continue on the service road to SMU (Yale) Boulevard. Turn
right (west) onto the campus. Then take a right on Airline Road. Follow Airline Road
as it curves left and becomes Daniel, continue on Daniel. The law school quadrangle is to the left at
the corner of Hillcrest and Daniel.
Traveling from the south, take the
Mockingbird Lane/SMU (Yale) Boulevard exit. Continue on the service road to SMU (Yale) Boulevard. Turn left (west) onto SMU (Yale) Blvd. Then right on
Airline Road
.
Follow
Airline Road
as it curves left and becomes Daniel, continue on Daniel. The law school student
parking garage is on the right, at the corner of Hillcrest and Daniel. The
quadrangle is to the left.
From the
Dallas
North Tollway
Exit Mockingbird Lane
to the East and continue on Mockingbird until you
reach Hillcrest.
Turn left heading north
on Hillcrest. The law school is at the intersection of Hillcrest and Daniel.
Turn right onto Daniel and the law school quadrangle is at the immediate right.
From
Denton
Traveling south on IH-35E, exit east on IH-635 (LBJ Freeway). Proceed to U.S.
Highway 75 (North Central Expressway) and exit south toward downtown. Proceed
about five miles and take the Lovers Lane/University Boulevard/SMU (Yale) Boulevard
exit. Continue on the service road to SMU (Yale) Boulevard. Take a right at SMU
(Yale) Blvd. Then another right at
Airline Road
onto campus. Follow
Airline Road
as it
curves left and becomes Daniel, continue on Daniel. The law school quadrangle
is to the left, at the corner of Hillcrest and Daniel.
From
Waco
Traveling north on IH-35E, exit east on the Woodall Rogers Freeway just north
of downtown
Dallas
.
Proceed east for a few miles and then exit north to U.S. Highway 75 (North
Central Expressway). Proceed north for about five miles and take the
Mockingbird Lane/SMU (Yale) Boulevard exit. Continue on the service road to SMU
(Yale) Boulevard and turn left (west) onto campus. Take a right at
Airline Road
.

From IH-30
Traveling from either direction, exit north to U.S.
Highway 75 (North Central Expressway); the sign indicates “
Sherman
.” Proceed north for about five miles
and take the Mockingbird Lane/SMU (Yale) Boulevard exit. Continue on the
service road to SMU (Yale) Boulevard and turn left (west) Then
take a right onto
Airline Road
.

as it curves left and becomes Daniel, continue on Daniel. The law school
quadrangle is to the left, at the corner of Hillcrest and Daniel.
From DFW International Airport
Take the North Exit from the airport to IH-635 (LBJ Freeway). Proceed to U.S.
Highway 75 (North Central Expressway) and exit south toward downtown. Proceed
about five miles and take the Lovers Lane/University Boulevard/SMU (Yale) Boulevard
exit. Continue on the service road to SMU (Yale) Boulevard and turn right. Turn
right again at Airline Road. Follow Airline Road as it curves left and becomes Daniel, continue on Daniel. The law school
quadrangle is to the left, at the corner of Hillcrest and Daniel.
From Dallas Love Field Airport-15 minutes to campus
Exit left (east) from the airport to Mockingbird Lane. Go east on Mockingbird.
Cross Lemmon Avenue, Inwood Road, Dallas North Tollway, Preston
Road. Take a left on Hillcrest Avenue. Then take a right at Daniel Ave.
The law school is at the intersection of Hillcrest and Daniel with the quadrangle on
the right.
Parking
On-Campus Interview and Special Event Parking
Special
arrangements can be made for employers interviewing on campus or hosting an
event. Parking is available in the lot located behind the Chase Bank Building at the Hillcrest
and Daniel Avenue intersection. This lot is owned and operated by the Parking Company of America
and provided at no charge to employers by the Office of Career Services. Please let our office know that you have parked in this location and we
will provide you with a parking hang tag that you will turn in to the parking
attendant when exiting the lot.
Parking
Directions: From Hillcrest Avenue, go west on Daniel Avenue. The Parking Company of America
lot is located west of the Chase Bank Building on the south side of
Snider Plaza across from Kuby’s.
General Visitors
Visitors may
also park in the Airline Visitor Parking Garage located at
6506 Airline Road.
Parking Directions: At SMU (Yale) Boulevard and
Airline Road, turn north onto Airline and follow the road until it intersects with Airline Circle. Turn left to the garage
entrance on Airline Circle.
