The Center employs one or more outstanding law students to work closely with the Tsai Center faculty on programming and law faculty research. These students serve as “Tsai Center Scholars.”
The inaugural Tsai Center Scholars for the 2015-2016 academic year were Alex Bridge and Kristen Zahnow. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University; worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc.; and served as a Scientific Advisor at the law firm of Baker Botts LLP. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Oklahoma; worked as a research assistant helping with laboratory experiments emphasizing the roles of regulatory proteins in plant lineage including DNA and RNA extraction, protein western blotting, and protein sub-cellular localization; and served as a Law Clerk at the law firm of Hitchcock Evert LLP.
