The Dalhousie Journal of Legal Studies (DJLS) is a non-profit, academic publication containing original writings from undergraduate and graduate law students, as well as recent graduates from such programs (within one year).

The DJLS is published once per academic year and maintains a broad subscription base including law school libraries, firms and corporations, government departments, alumni and legal practitioners, domestically and from across the globe. It is also indexed in the HenOnline database.

The DJLS publishes articles, case comments, and other notes that deal with issues relating to either Canadian or International law. All submissions are blindly reviewed and assessed based on originality, contribution to existing legal literature and writing style.

The top three articles selected for publication will receive cash awards. High quality submissions that are not selected for publication in the DJLS will also be automatically considered for inclusion in the DJLS online companion.

The deadline for submission to Volume 21 Call for Papers is Friday, February 3, 2012.

All work should be submitted to DJLS.Submissions@gmail.com in MS Word format (.doc/.docx). Please do not include the name of the author in the filename or pages of the submitted text.

For questions, contact DJLS@dal.ca. More information is also available on the DJLS website, http://www.DJLS.org.
