United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Jurist in Residence at SMU Dedman Law

For two days during the fall 2011 semester, SMU Dedman School of Law students, faculty and staff were privileged to listen and interact with the esteemed Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the United States Supreme Court.

During her August 29-30 visit, Justice Ginsburg co-lectured courses on Civil Procedure and Constitutional Law and spoke directly to faculty, members of the local judiciary, and friends of the law school. The highlight of her visit was a personal interview conducted by Dean John B. Attanasio focused on her life in the law, women's rights, and the inner-workings of the nation's highest court.
