Judge Richard Linn delivered a lecture on "Changing Times: Changing Demands" on Tuesday, September 27 to law students at SMU Dedman School of Law.


Judge Richard Linn was appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Court in 1999. Prior to his appointment, Judge Linn practiced intellectual property law, served as Patent Advisor for the United States Naval Air Systems Command, was a Patent Agent at the United States Naval Research Laboratory, and served as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent Office. He has received numerous honors for advancing the practice of law.

The visit was arranged and organized by Assistant Professor Sarah Tran, SMU Dedman School of Law.
