Professor Tate awarded Robbins Senior Fellowship
Joshua C. Tate
SMU Dedman School of Law congratulates Associate Professor Joshua Tate on his receipt of a Robbins Senior Fellowship, established by Lloyd M. Robbins for the continuing growth of Collection materials and resources and the advancement of knowledge in support of its core mission. Robbins fellowships have been created in order to assist in the development of the Collection along the lines set by Lloyd M. Robbins by promoting research that advances scholarship in one or more of the fields of law that constitute the principle areas of focus for the Collection, religious and civil law traditions.
Professor Tate will be conducting independent research on the subject of Roman-canon law relating to property and inheritance in the medieval and early modern periods.
