Visiting Assistant Professor

Orly Sulami is an associate in the Business Planning and Tax Practice Group in the Dallas office of Haynes and Boone. She has experience working with partnerships, limited liability companies, private and publicly held corporations, and individual investors.

Orly has assisted clients with various matters, including the following:

  • Formation, operation and dissolution of closely held corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.
     
  • Matters involving domestic and offshore investment funds.
     
  • Federal income tax matters for various business entities.
     
  • Advising on tax aspects of taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and dispositions.

Sulami taught Tax Accounting in Fall 2011 and is teaching Income Taxation in Spring 2012.
