Alumni & Development

Since 1925, the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law has been an innovator in legal education. The first law school class graduated in 1928 with 11 members. Today we have over 15,000 alumni living in every state in the United States and in over 80 different countries across the world.

The Office of Alumni Development is dedicated to serving the School's alumni in a host of ways, including planning academic and social events that bring alumni back to the School and by facilitating communications with and among alumni. Alumni visitors are invited to update contact information, browse the law school's coming events, and make a gift to SMU Dedman School of Law.
